This version, built in 2016, features a completely Rhino3D – designed nose mount with a cable junction, printed using FDM. It is mounted on a new, lower – profile vac – formed skull cap with resin – printed spines on a custom – wound spring. The design retains the aluminum servo brackets and mounts. Notably, this is the first revision of the face animatronic to include a water pump, allowing it to spray liquid from the nose.

Originally built in 2007, the animatronic featured a basic “spiney” mechanism, an aluminum nose mount, and a fiberglass skull cap. It was controlled by a MIDI card and sequenced through Ableton.

The head consisted of 2 servo motors worn in a belt pack.
